Problem:
MILG–BARMM needed a public-facing platform to communicate programs, publish announcements, and provide access to key government services and information. Previously, content updates were dependent on developers, making the process slow and inefficient. There was no easy way for staff to manage pages, upload documents, or publish updates without technical assistance—resulting in outdated content and limited public engagement.
Solution:
A custom content management system (CMS) was developed alongside a redesigned MILG website, built using Laravel and Tailwind. The CMS enables authorized staff to easily manage content—pages, news, downloads, and directories—through a clean, modular admin interface. It was built for flexibility and performance, without relying on bloated third-party platforms. The site now supports faster updates, better accessibility, and a more reliable channel for public information.
The Custom CMS is one of several integrated tools within the MILG intranet ecosystem—built to streamline internal processes, improve transparency, and support more efficient service delivery across the region.
